Yun Hyejin este un artist care împărtășește o poveste despre oameni simplii din jurul jurul nostru apelând la un instrument muzical cu 12 corzi din mătase, Gayageum. Spectacolul ei se concentrează pe conectarea trecutului de prezent apelând la acest instrument tradițional în Coreea. Artista este specializată în a compune și cânta la acest instrument, dar este și actriță. Cântărețul de Gayageum trebuie să se oprească dacă una dintre corzi se rupe? Într-o asemenea situația, coarda ruptă va continua să spună o poveste a minții și sufletului nostru.
Lângă tine este un spectacol poetic, de muzică și păpușărie, în care unul dintre personaje, Inimă, ar dori să se răzbune pe Durerea din trecut. Pe parcursul pregătirii revanșei, Inima ajunge la munte unde descoperă că unul dintre brazii care s-a rupt din cauza zăpezii, e sprijinit de ceilalți.
Yun Hyejin is an artist who tells and shares a story of ordinary people around us with Gayageum (Korean board zither with 12 silk strings). Her performances mainly focus on connecting the past with the future using a traditional korean instrument. She is a Gayageum player, composer and actress. Does the Gayageum player have to stop giving a performance when one of the strings breaks? Being stuck in a situation where she cannot move forward and backwards, the broken string itself continues to tell a story of our heart and mind.
Beside you is a solo puppet performance that charts her personal story from getting hurt to overcoming the painful memories. Gayaguem and puppet enriches the imagination during the performance. A character in the story ‘Heart’ makes its mind to get back at ‘Hurt’. On its journey to strengthen itself for revenge, ‘Heart’ accidentally comes across the broken tree on the snowy mountain and realizes the other trees support the broken tree.
